Why We Started

As a busy, on-the-go optometrist, I spent years travelling between practices — often across the UK and to Northern Ireland, where my wife’s family lives.

Life in transit, between clinics, cars, and airport lounges, rarely allowed for a consistent skincare or eye care routine. Constant exposure to recycled air, long days, and unfamiliar environments often left my skin feeling irritated and my eyes vulnerable to dryness and styes.

I created The BYE Company for people like me — those who need gentle, effective eye and skin care they can trust, wherever life takes them.

As an ocular health professional, I wanted more than convenience. I wanted products that were truly purposeful: clean, natural formulas designed for delicate eyes, sensitive skin, and everyday wellness — without the harsh chemicals found in mass-market brands.
